Schmuck Lumber Company has been a family owned and operated business in Hanover, PA, since 1852. Founded by J. A. Schmuck, a predominate community leader, we primarily sold lumber and coal.

Over the years we grew to include other products including windows, roofing materials, plywood, drywall, hardware, paint, and much more.

Today, Schmuck Lumber Company is still independently owned and continues to grow. A new showroom and warehouse demonstrates the commitment to serving our customers. In the tradition started by the company's founder, our philosophy is to offer quality, brand-name products, an unequaled professional sales force, and a friendly atmosphere where customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
